My newborn sessions are a little different than the usual experience!

Instead of the traditional idea where you bundle up you and your little family and come to a studio, I come to you, with everything needed to capture some timeless photos of you and your new little one in the comfort of your own home! Whether you want only lifestyle pics (very relaxed and candid with lots of snuggles and kisses) or some of the more traditional posed shots, I can make all that happen in your own home.

The difference between lifestyle and posed newborn photography:

Lifestyle photography aims to capture the authentic moments unfolding in real-time, providing a genuine portrayal of your current life. When it comes to newborns, this often involves documenting activities such as feeding, sleeping, cuddling with family, and yes, even the occasional tears. The beauty of lifestyle sessions is that these can happen at any point in time as we don't rely on your bubba to be sleepy enough to be posed for shots, it's all that just comes naturally.

Posed newborn photography is exactly that; I gently pose your (usually wrapped or sometimes naked) bubba on a beanbag or in a bowl, basket or box. These sessions can be a bit more time consuming, as  poses often require your little one to be fairly chilled and sleepy... which is why we allow for plenty of time!
